Independent apps designed for Apple users.
A small, growing family of thoughtful apps for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Turn your Apple Watch into a book reader.
Import a TXT, EPUB or PDF on your iPhone and BeeReader sends it straight to your wrist — fully offline, no account, no cloud. Digital Crown scrolling, hands-free auto-scroll and easy-on-the-eyes themes.
Birthdays and the little things, remembered.
A calm, ad-free birthday app that counts down to every birthday on your Home and Lock Screen — solar or Chinese lunar. Give each person a honeycomb of anniversaries and little notes, let friends fill in their own birthday from a link, and keep it all in your own iCloud.
One shared board for two.
A simple kanban board for two people. Write a card, let your partner claim it with “I’ll do it”, and say thanks with a tap when it’s done. Checklists, due dates and widgets, shared through your own iCloud — no account, no server.
Your music, on a vintage machine.
Play the songs you own — or Apple Music, if you subscribe — on a warm vintage machine: a turntable, cassette deck, CD deck, radio or digital player. The tonearm lowers, the reels turn. Imported songs stay on your device and play offline, with no account.
Type in Morse, right from your wrist.
Turn your Apple Watch into a Morse code keyboard. Tap left for a dot, right for a dash, and watch your taps decode into text in real time — with haptics for every signal, playback and a built-in reference chart.
Turn any photo into a short poem.
Turn any photo into a beautiful short poem using AI — a landscape, a city view, or a moment with loved ones. Discover new perspectives and emotions, with custom fonts, colors and frames to make each one yours.
Notes on design and craft, plus guides for our apps.
Stand iPhone Duo part open and BeeTunes lays a turntable on the lower half under a raised dust cover — or a CD player or cassette deck with the track list laid out below. Here's what each way of holding the Duo does.
iTunes is gone, and the Music app won't take a file from the Files app. Here are three ways to get your own MP3s onto an iPhone — AirDrop, iCloud Drive, or a cable — and play them offline.
The Apple Watch can play your Apple Books audiobooks, but it cannot show the text of an Apple Books ebook — there is no reading view, and purchases are DRM-protected. Here's exactly what works, what doesn't, and how to read on the watch anyway.
